When looking for another car I will 100% be coming back. I’m a young person, but had a fair share of buying experience from larger businesses and this is by far the absolute best experience I’ve ever had buying a car. Buying process was easy, I traded in my beloved MINI JCW due to a job change for a Polo GTI and the swap from one car to the other was very easy. I had lost my V5 and Max even had the patience and trust that I’d post the new one down to him once it came so I could get my new car sooner. I unfortunately had a slight problem with the car after a couple weeks of ownership but Max didn’t shy away from helping. Previous large scale dealerships I’ve dealt with would fob you off and pass the blame, not Max. He immediately offered solutions and we came to an agreement and the car is now sorted. Again, I can’t fault this man or his business in the slightest. I will 100% go back for my next car without a doubt. And that says something considering he is 200 miles away from me!

Bought my i20N from Samsons’ around six weeks ago! Best car I’ve ever purchased, car puts a smile on my face everyday. Had a few issues with finance through my bank, but went through Samsons’ themselves for finance. Couldn’t have been anymore helpful, and got a better rate too! Recently got my Seat Leon Cupra 290 from here. Max is an absolute pleasure to speak to, can really tell he cares about the cars he is selling and he knows his stuff and will answer any questions you have (as long as you don’t forget to ask the important stuff like I did) but even then you don’t need to worry as the cars they sell are in quality condition and well looked after

They even gave me a box of chocolates to go with the car which didn’t go unnoticed.

Had a great experience at Sansoms, they made the whole ordeal very easy and it was a surprisingly quick process even considering I was part exchanging my previous car, upon receiving the car it had plenty of petrol and it was nice and clean how you’d expect it to be and it practically looked brand new. So far so good, absolutely no problems with the new car whatsoever i’d definitely recommend Sansoms to anyone who’s looking to buy.

Bought a Golf R recently from Max, he’s been professional throughout the deal and is an absolute gentleman. Test drove the car one afternoon and I knew the car was for me, Max made the transaction very simple and this was an easy deal. I couldn’t recommend him any more! i bought a polo gti+ from Sansoms about a month ago and the car was spot on, clean inside and out, i can’t fault the car at all and i am really happy with it, my last car buying experience wasn’t the best and really put me off getting another car but buying a car from Sansoms was much better, quick, easy and zero hassle. Max and Laura are friendly and very helpful, they answered all my questions i had about the car and helped me out when i had a bit of bother with my insurance, i would highly recommend to anyone buying a new car

Coming from someone in the motor trade, i could not fault the service provided whatsoever. From sharing the car i was looking for (pretty specific) to finding, negotiating and collecting vehicle, everything sailed smoothly. Upon collection, the first time meeting Max face to face, the car was presented beautifully, with extra add ons only top quality dealers provide. No question is to stupid and the patience given was impeccable. Will definitely be coming back!!!!

Max helped our son buy his dream car, he was so helpful and professional from start to finish, constantly keeping in touch with our son and helped him sort out his first finance deal which was difficult at first due to him never having credit or finance before but Max found us another lender and I agreed to be guarantor. We collected the car a few days later and Max even did a reveal for it which was a lovely surprise! Our son is so happy with his new car, he’s never been out of it! I bought a Golf GTI from max this week, couldn’t recommend him more. Very easy process and he didn’t try and add extra costs for 1 year warranties, it came for free. Communication was easy with him and he was happy to answer any questions.

4 months later, I’ve had an issue with the car. Max had it booked in for warranty with no issue and didn’t try and wriggle out of it like most garages do. He solved the problem professionally and quickly as possible. Very reliable dealer and gives peace of mind that you’ll be looked after as a customer

Just bought an Ibiza Cupra from Max. WOW, what can I say! May even go as far as saying my best buying experience in my 13 years of driving. I live about 180 miles away so it was important for me to ensure beforehand that the car I was buying was right for me. Found out everything I needed to know and eventually was happy to pay a holding deposit of £99. I always feel a bit on edge when buying a car that’s a long distance from home. I didn’t need to worry! On arrival, Max very kindly picked me up from Morpeth train station (luckily only a 2 minute drive from the unit) and upon a careful inspection, the car was exactly as described. A quick test drive also confirmed I’d made the right choice plus the standard 12 month warranty just gives peace of mind.
Overall, the entire process was flawless. The friendly atmosphere from both Max & Laura made me feel welcome straight away and certainly wouldn’t hesitate to buy again from Sansom’s Specialist Cars

Where do I start, max was excellent from start to finish. I called about a fiesta ST that he had for sale, he was super friendly over the phone. He messaged me from his personal number which made life so much easier when it came to buying the car he even got the timing belt and water pump done for me before collection! He put a full tank of fuel in the car and picked me up from the station, exceptional service would highly recommended.

Bought a car from Max today, possibly one of my best decisions yet! From start to finish this has been nothing but amazing. I was slightly concerned about buying a car from a place without a forecourt, but Max was very professional, he gave me a good deal on my trade in, the transaction was effortless and with the added bonus he has a personal love for Fiesta ST’s, he was the best man to buy one from.
